Class Project

Leaving Lasting Impact

One of the most amazing aspects of Leadership Barrow is the effect the program can have when powerful leaders come together! Each class chooses a special project designed to leave a lasting impact on the community. For instance, the Class of 2025 partnered with Cardinal Construction to help revitalize and transform the outside of Path United, a non-profit in Auburn that helps kids growing up in mobile homes recognize their ability to thrive. One class built book boxes around Barrow County to promote the love of reading among our citizens. Every single project is lovingly chosen and executed as a combined effort by all members of the class! It is always one of the highlights of each year, and we look forward to sharing the Class of 2027's project with you!

Our Impact Project

After the day spent visiting so many wonderful non-profits here in Barrow County, the Class of 2026 had a hard time picking one sole need to focus on, especially when there were so many leaders ready and willing to help! As a result, they identified four special organizations that have frequent visitors or residents. For their impact project, they focused on revitalizing their outdoor spaces through painting, landscaping, signage, and more!
